This is a three credit course offered for the B.Sc (Hon's) degree programme. This course provides you with a basic understanding and knowledge about immunology, development of defense mechanisms in the animal kingdom, components of the human immune system, three lines of defense, innate immunity and acquired immunity, autoimmunity diseases are the major components that you will be learning through this course.
