CYU5304 - Chemistry of Biomolecules is the 5 level and 3 credit course offered for the B.Sc. degree program in the Department of Chemistry. This course provides students with a basic knowledge on Chemistry of some biomolecules.
It covers topics on primary metabolites such as carbohydrates, amino acids peptides and proteins, lipids and nucleic acids. Also enzymes, coenzymes, vitamins and which are important in metabolic pathways will be discussed.
