ZYU5301 Fish Biology & Fishery Management, is a 03 credit course offered by the Department of Zoology. This is a level 05 course conducted in 2nd semester under the Bachelor of Science degree programme. It includes theory sessions and compulsory laboratory practical session. This course introduce basic principles of fish biology and to make the students familiarize with the Sri Lankan fisheries and they are capable of analyzing the problems and managing these resources successfully for sustainable exploitation.
