Advanced Ornithology is a three credit course developed for
the Bachelor of Science Special Degree Programme and it’s offered by
the Department of Zoology as a Level 6 course. This course is compulsory
for Zoology special students. This is a study of bird anatomy,
adaptations, physiology, their behaviour and evolution. The course will
offer hands on experience in bird watching, bird handling and stuffing
of these creatures specialized for the avian mode of life.
