MSP9334 – Organizational Behaviour  in Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management (HBA in HRM) programme, by the Department of Organizational Studies, Faculty of Management Studies provides you with an introduction to OB.  Each unit of this course provides a comprehensive understanding of theories, concepts and tools of OB and equip the participants with relevant knowledge and skills in order to encourage them towards strategic application of the knowledge and skills for effective management of the human effort.  Topics include an introduction to OB, the environmental context of OB i.e. globalization, diversity and ethics, design and culture, rewards systems, personality, attitudes and perception, motivational needs, processes and applications, communication and decision making, stress and conflicts, power and politics, groups and teams, behavioural performance management, and effective leadership processes.

AFP9332 Managerial Finance 

This is a first Semester course of the Year 1 of the MBA in HRM Programme - level 3, 3 credit course and designed to explain the concepts of managerial finance and develops evaluation and judgmental skills associated with the use of accounting and financial information in decision making. This course is offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Management Studies, OUSL.

HRP9340 Human Resource Information Systems, is a course of MBA in Human Resource Management offered by Faculty of Management Studies. It is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theories and concepts as well as tools of human resource information systems and equip them with latest knowledge in to be used in HRIS to meet the human resource information needs of the organization using technology. In designing this HRIS course it expected to improve students’ understanding of the necessary technology, the people who work with HRIS, and its role in organizational performance. 

HRP9338 Performance Management is a compulsory course in the 2nd semester of the 1st year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 3 credits weightage.
