The course on Poetry explores the multi-layers meanings in poetry texts, and provides insights into reading poetry using literary theory. During the course, it will seek to locate a text as an artistic response to sociocultural conditions, taking into account its historical and cultural context.

This is a level four, five credits course of the B A Honours in English & English Language Teaching programme offered by the Language Studies Department. This course provided an introduction to critical theory and the literary analysis of texts, to enable students to respond to the linguistic elements of literature.

LEU 4501 - "History & development of the English Language". This course is will be conducted through online day schools (via Zoom) and this will be available in the Moodle Learning Management course page. 

This is a 5 credit course offered at Level 3 of the BA in English and ELT and will involve 250 hours of study. This course is designed to enhance writing skills in an academic context and will help to deal with a variety of writing tasks.

This is a 5 Credit, course to assist student acclimatize to the quantity & quality of academic reading required to succeed in the BA (Hons) in English and English Language Teaching Programme.
