DSD3413 Accommodation and Reception

This Level 3 course is the first course of the four courses that make up the Stream A in the 2nd semester of the ‘Diploma in Tourism Operations’ Programme. It is a 4 credit course which will require about 200 hours of study time.

In this course you will learn about operational aspects of the two front line departments in a hotel - The Front Office and the Housekeeping Departments.

DSD3417 Leisure & Tourism Resources

This Level 3 course is the first course of the four courses that you have to do during the 2nd semester (Stream B) of the ‘Diploma in Tourism Operations’ Programme. It is a 4 credit course which will require about 200 hours of study time. This course is about Leisure, Recreation and Tourism and how the three concepts are related and the impacts they have on the environment.

DSD3418 Travel & Tour Operations

This Level 3 course is the second course of the four courses that you have to do during the 2nd semester (Stream B) of the ‘Diploma in Tourism Operations’ Programme. It is a 4 credit course which will require about 200 hours of study time.

This course is developed to inform how the travel business is conducted in a travel agency or tour operation establishment.
