This course focuses on the theoretical foundation of financial accounting, measurement and recognition of elements of financial statements, preparation of financial statements of profit oriented and not for profit organizations, and analysis of financial information, the knowledge of which is vital towards making productive decisions. Recent developments in accounting standards and practice are also covered in this course.
