TAY6860 Engineering Research Project (Textile & Clothing Engineering)

TAY6860 Engineering Research Project (Textile & Clothing Engineering) is a course offered at Level 6 for the students of Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering Degree programme in the Faculty of Engineering Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka. The Department of Textile and Apparel Technology offers the course TAY7880. 

Students are expected to spend around 800 hours during the academic year in order to complete the course successfully. They can obtain the necessary guidance from the assigned supervisor.

Aim of this course is to carry out an industry-based project during the final year, in order to demonstrate learners’ exposure to professional engineering practice. It should also demand individual analysis and judgement, assessed independently from the work of others.
