LLM5281: Basic Laws Relating to Engineering and Technology, is one of the core Philosophy courses offered by the Department of Mathematics and Philosophy of Engineering for the Bachelor of Software Engineering degree programme.
This is a two-credit course offered at level 5 in Management(M) category. This course will help you acquire the basic knowledge of the legal framework in Sri Lanka including the main areas of law that are applicable both in day-to-day life and in Engineering. At the end of the course, you should be able to apply the acquired legal skills to solving real-world problems.
