DMS4205 Strength of Materials I is a compulsory 2-credit course at SLQF Level 4 for all Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering students. The course provides fundamental theoretical knowledge of strength of materials, forming the analytical basis for machine and structural design applications. It also serves as a prerequisite for Strength of Materials II, a compulsory SLQF Level 5 course for Mechanical Engineering students.
