FME 5410 – Internship II is a Level 5, 4-credit course offered to students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) programme by the Department of Pharmacy. The course is designed to provide students with real-world exposure to pharmacy practice across different professional settings.

Through this internship, students gain the opportunity to observe legal procedures related to the pharmacy field in Sri Lanka, understand various quality assurance strategies used in the manufacture and distribution of medicines, obtain hands-on experience in the handling and reconstitution of cancer medicines, and learn about the role of the pharmacist within the Medical Supplies Division.
