This is a five (05) credit compulsory course offered in the second semester of Level 4 of the BA Degree in Youth and Community Development programme. The course is offered by the Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, The Open University of Sri Lanka. The main aim of this course is to examine the nature of conflict and to identify its effects on people in different contexts, both at the individual and group levels.
