This is a two (02) credit course which is offered in the 1st semester of level 4 for the students of B. A. in Youth & Community Development programme offered by Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, The Open University of Sri Lanka.
This module has only one block comprising 7 sessions. Those
seven sessions are helped you to enhance your knowledge to discuss the
theories and concepts of community and their applicability in
managing community-based development projects, Critically analyze the issues
and challenges surrounding youth development work in community, design and
develop community-based youth programmes and projects etc....
