This is a compulsory course in the second year and credit weightage of this subject is 4. The objectives of this course are to discuss the fundamental concepts of international humanitarian law and to apply humanitarian law principles in times of armed conflict. In addition to that, it aims to examine the relationship between humanitarian law and other branches of international law and identify the current state of the subject and its place in the modern international legal system.
