EEY4489-Higher Diploma Project in Software Engineering is an individual project and is an optional course in the Bachelor of Software Engineering degree program offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. It offers the opportunity to apply and synthesise knowledge gained throughout the programme, and also to create new knowledge.

In contrast to the other project courses, Higher Diploma projects are undertaken individually. This course is offered only if students cannot go for industrial training due to some reason and expect to leave the degree programme with the Higher Diploma.
