This is a level 5
compulsory course offered by the Department of Agricultural and Plantation Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering Technology for the Bachelor of Industrial Studies Honours (Agriculture).
Main aim of this course is to give
the in depth knowledge on the relationship between Soil, Plant and water for
sustainable crop growth and production. The practical understanding of the major
aspects of soils, absorption of water and solute by plants, water potential,
irrigation scheduling and water requirement are important for successful
agricultural productivity.
